Rosa's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy bags of rice, biscuits, soft drinks, and noodles for her canteen (general store) business.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 46 years old married woman with five children. She and her family live in a rural community outside Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.

She operates a small store in her community selling food items such as rice, noodles and biscuits to earn an income to support her family. She has been in this business for four years.

Rosa is asking a loan from SPBD to help her pay for additional bags of rice, biscuits, soft drinks, and noodles to increase her supplies.

She plans to use her profits to support her family financially and make her loan repayments.

She became a member of SPBD in 2016 to gain access to financial services. Her future goal is to become profitable.
