Lilia Patricia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy potatoes, carrots, oranges, pineapples, onions, spinach, etc.

Lilia Patricia's story

Tosagua is a canton that yields produce (they harvest cacao, coffee, bananas, corn, and others) and livestock (they raise poultry and swine). Its gastronomy is well-recognized in the area; its main dish is fried and grilled chame [a type of fish].

Lilia is 52 years old and married. She has three children, all of whom are adults and independent. Her husband is a taxi driver, and they live in a house they own.

For more than twelve years, Lilia has worked selling fruits and vegetables in the municipal market. She works everyday from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. In the market, she pays a daily municipal tax to rent the space she uses. She comments that despite the fact that the work is difficult, she likes it.

With this new loan, she will buy potatoes, carrots, oranges, pineapples, onions, spinach, etc. Her dream is to own her own store location and to continue in very good health.
