Virgina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more pepper, bitter balls, salt, onions, and other items to sell.

Virgina's story

Meet 45-year-old Virgina from Liberia. She is married with 3 children. All of her children are at school and live at home.

Virgina runs a business which sells pepper, bitter balls, salt, onions, and other items to her customers. She has been in this business for the past 12 years now and works 15 hours per day and 6 days a week. She has had no problem with her business.

Virgina requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more pepper, bitter balls, salt, onions, and other items to sell and grow her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family, and to educate her children. In the future, she would like to become a big business woman. She says thanks and gives her appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
