A loan helped to buy more inventory to have a sufficient stock of goods to sell.

Hoziyana's story

Hoziyana is 28 years old and married. She is very committed to the well being of her family so she always has hope that she will improve her family's living standards.

Hoziyana owns a small retail shop selling various types of soft drinks, local soft drinks, sugar, potatoes, and other basic goods. She has been in this field for the past 2 years and has no employees. Hoziyana gradually expanded her business but her lack of capital prevents her from reaching her sales targets and threatens the growth of her business profits. For that reason, Hoziyana is requesting a loan to buy more inventory and have sufficient stock to sell which will increase sales and revenues. Hoziyana believes that in the future her business will flourish.

This is Hoziyana's first loan cycle with VisionFund Rwanda and she is truly thankful to Kiva lenders for supporting her loan.
