Juan Jose

La Flecha, Santa Barbara, Santa Bárbara Department, Honduras / Agriculture

Juan Jose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers, supplies, lime powder, and poultry manure for maintenance of the land.

Juan Jose's story

Juan, age 36, is single and does not have children. He lives with his sister and his father in the San Luis community, a place that borders La Flecha, Santa Bárbara. He previously only worked as a day worker on farms close to his house. Eight years ago he started his business with coffee and bean crops. The plots of land that he has are located on agricultural land in the community. He sells his harvests at the local market and to nearby neighbors.

Juan has had various loan cycles with the institution, and he has demonstrated good payment behavior. He is now requesting 15,000 lempiras to buy fertilizers, supplies, line powder, and chicken manure to provide maintenance on the land. With this investment he hopes to get better harvests. His dream is to expand the land with his crops, and to improve his sales in this way.
