Adama's story

Meet 45 years old Adama from Aberdeen branch. She is married with 2 children between the ages of 15 and 20 years old and both of them are currently attending school.

Adama runs a retail shop business and sells provisions, toiletries, cosmetics, water, drinks etc to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past 15 years now and works 12 hours per day and 7 days a week. Her main challenge is slow sales sometimes

Adama requested this loan from Brac to purchase more rice provisions, toiletries, cosmetics, water, drinks etc to increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her to pay fees for her children and to take care of her family. In the next 5 years, she wants to expand to a big shop. She says thanks and appreciation to Brac and Kiva community for their support.
