Deborah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more clothes and different materials to use in tailoring in order to sew more clothes for the community.

Deborah's story

Deborah is married and is 50 years old. Her husband is a teacher and they have five children, who are between 12 and 24 years old. She is very committed to the well-being of her family.

Lack of capital prevents Deborah from reaching her targets of sewing more clothes for her clients and threatens the growth of her business profits. For that reason, she is requesting a loan to expand her sewing business by purchasing more clothes and different materials to use in tailoring in order to sew more clothes for the community.

This is her sixteenth year of working in this business and she has three employees to help her.

With the profits, she will be able to pay school fees at university for her children and save for the future. This is her second loan cycle with VisionFund Rwanda. Deborah is very thankful towards Kiva lenders for offering her this loan.
