Simpulicio's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy fertilizers for his coffee plantation to improve his yields and returns to educate his children.

Simpulicio's story

Simpulicio is 31 years old, married with 5 children, of which four are in school.

He is a farmer who specializes in banana and coffee growing in his region. Farming has been his main source of income since 2000. He saved up some money which he invested in a retail shop to supplement his income, since farming is a seasonal business. Simpulicio has been able to provide for his family and also educate his children.

He is grateful to his parents for teaching him the basics, which was a great foundation when starting out.

In an effort to improve his yields, he has applied for a loan in the amount of 700,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy fertilizers for his banana and coffee plantations. He hopes that the fertilizers will improve the quality and quantity of his crop which will attract good prices and improve his finances.

Simpulicio is grateful to the lenders for their support.
