A loan helped to buy sheep and cows.

Rokhaya's Group's story

This group is comprised of 18 women who share a bond of solidary and mutual helpfulness. They live in the same village and seized the opportunity to join the Villageois when it was founded in their area in 2016. Their main jobs are animal feeding.

Faty, standing on the far right of the photo with the raised hand, is the representative of the group. She is 39 years old. She is married and the mother of four children, two of whom are boys. The youngest is 5 years old. She feeds animals. She enjoys experience in this job from having practiced it for many years.

With this loan she plans on buying sheep and a cow, which she will feed for at least a few months, in order to resell them.

With the profit, she counts on strengthening her savings and taking care of her children.
