A loan helped to restock chicks and feed.

Sanctified Group's story

Residing in the rural areas of Chionana, Pamela possesses the strong traits and characteristics of a good entrepreneur.

Pamela is a 30-year-old divorced mother of two children staying at her parents’ house and has been running her poultry business for two years now. She uses a fowl run with a capacity of two hundred birds. She restocks the chicks and feed from Mahusekwa. Taking care of the day-old chicks up until the point of sale, she makes sure the chicks are well fed and the fowl runs are kept clean to reduce the chances of infection. She has now built a good customer base and she sells both dressed and live chickens and her major customers have been some canteens which she supplies in bulk.

After hearing about Thrive Microfinance from people in her area, Pamela applied for a business loan, which she used to restock chicks and feed.
