but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy organic fertilizer for his coffee plantation in order to improve the quality and quantity of his farm yields.

Charles's story

Charles is 31-year-old resident of Rakai District and is married with three children; two are in school. He carries out a business of farming where he grows coffee, alongside trading produce which he started in 2012 with the aim of supplementing on his family income. With the money he gets, he provides the family with the basic necessities as well as educating his children.

However, the unpredictable price fluctuations are a challenge to him and other farmers at large. In a bid to improve his farming, Charles has applied for a loan of 5,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy organic fertilizers for his coffee plantation. He is hopeful that the quality and quantity of his farm yields will improve, which will attract competitive prices, thus bringing in more income. Charles appreciates lenders.
