Margaret's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy cereals such as maize and beans to resell and, as a single mom, use the profits to support her children.

Margaret's story

As a poor mom, Margaret has always dreamed of getting out of poverty. That is the main reason she began practicing farming after her search for a white collar job proved futile. She has made meaningful accomplishments in life through farming.

Margaret is a very hardworking and energetic young farmer. Although she has only farmed for the past few years, she is working hard and learning good farming practices. Through the profits she makes, she has been able to take care of her family and provide for the basic needs of her parents. Margaret is based in Thika, a remote area of Kenya with fertile soil famous for dairy and maize farming. Margaret’s primary sources of income have been crops. Through these ventures, she has been able to earn a decent income. Very determined and dedicated, she has never regretted going into farming.

Although this humble mum has been making profits, not everything has been good, as Margaret faces financial challenges. Because the Thika area has proven to be a ready market for cereals, she is seeking a loan to buy cereals for resale to improve her income. You can help Margaret to accomplish all of these dreams with a loan, so make one now and get her closer to her goals.
