A loan helped to buy livestock feed to increase her income from livestock fattening and resale.

Nursiya's story

Nursiya successfully repaid her previous loan. She is very grateful to Kiva Foundation and everyone who helped her financially.

Currently, Nursiya has 13 cows, 70 sheep and 4 horses on her farm, as well as 2.25 hectares of land where she grows clover. With a goal to further develop her farming business, Nursiya once again applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 20,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock feed to increase her income from livestock fattening and resale. Nursiya plans to invest the earnings from the loan into a barn renovation and into improvement of her family's living conditions.
