Fatoumata Seydina's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a box of fish.

Fatoumata Seydina's Group's story

This "banc villageois" of 14 members was established in December of 2009. It is made up of women who are determined to earn an income and strengthen their financial capacity. They have lived in the same village for decades and enjoy relationships of solidarity and mutual support. They are small retailers.

Fatoumata Seydina (standing on the far right raising a hand) is the group representative. She is married and has a child.

She sells fish in her village. She will use her new loan to buy a box of fish which she will resell to local consumers. Her merchandise is renewable.

She plans to use her profits to help her husband take care of their child and to build her savings.
