but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more inventory and have sufficient stock of goods to sell.

Jyambere-Jabana Group's story

Laurence is a 50-year-old mother of 4 children, who are all attending school. She is very committed to the well-being of her family, so she always hopes to improve her family's living standard.

Laurence owns a small retail shop, selling various types of soft drinks, soap, sugar, potatoes and other basic goods. She has been in this field for the past 19 years and has no employees. She gradually expanded her business, but her lack of capital prevents her from reaching her selling targets and threatens the growth of her business profits. For that reason, Laurence is requesting this loan in order to buy more inventory and have sufficient stock of goods to sell. This will increase sales and revenues as well. She believes that in the future her business will be flourishing.

This is Laurence's 9th loan cycle with VisionFund Rwanda and she is truly thankful towards the Kiva lenders for allowing her this loan.
