Harriet's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more pepper, red oil, Vita, rice, and other items to sell.

Harriet's story

Harriet, 28 years old, stays in Liberia and is married, with four children. All of her children are currently living at home while attending school. She attended school up to 8th grade.

Her main source of income is business, mainly selling pepper, red oil, Vita, rice, and other items. She started a few years back with an objective of increasing her business.

She has applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more pepper, red oil, Vita, rice, and other items to sell.

She is hopeful that with increased inventory, her sales will also improve, thus bettering her finances to provide for family.

She learned the trade from her mother and started selling with some finance help from her mother.

Harriet is grateful for the financial support from the funders that will boost her.

Her dream is to become a big businesswoman.
