Solange's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped additional products including drinks like juice, mineral water, ripe bananas, etc.

Solange's story

Solange was born in 1984; she is married with one child who is 2 years of age. She lives with her family in the northern province of Rwanda, which is approximately two hours from the capital, Kigali. Her husband is a technician; they both work hard for their family. Solange has owned a shop selling different kinds of goods including drinks such as juice, mineral water, ripe bananas, etc. Before this business, Solange was a full-time housewife and she was not able to contribute toward the life of her family. She has been in business for one year. Her shop is open from 6 AM to 9 PM every day and she employs one person from her community as a helper so that her business runs well.

Solange is requesting a loan from Kiva lenders via Vision Finance Company to purchase more products which will make her more efficient, effective and more successful. She thinks with these products she will be able to attract more customers as well as earning more profit which in turn will allow her to build a secure future for her family.
