A loan helped to buy two bales of used clothes and pay for delivery in order to grow her business.
Safina Group's story
Madam Rose is president of "Safina" a village group that sells bales of used clothes at the local central market. Rose, who is a client of microfinance institution Hekima, is 42 years old, married and has six children, all attending school. She has been running this business since she was young with initial funding from her husband, a pharmacist, and subsequent loans from Hekima. With this loan, she will buy two bales of used clothes and pay for delivery to expand her business. Her main concern is to have her children attend school until college and create good conditions to feed all her children. She also wants to open a large storage facility to serve more customers. She thanks Hekima and its dear partners for their financial support to small earners.
