Kemah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fruits and vegetables to sell.

Kemah's story

Kemah is 38 years old and lives with her partner along with three children, whose ages are between 5 and 15 years. All the children are in school and live at home. Keman herself attended school until the eleventh grade.

She sells fruits and vegetables such as cucumbers, watermelons, and oranges from a business she has managed for six years. She considers herself a very hardworking businesswoman. She obtained knowledge about selling from her mother and started to sell with some earnings from her husband. She sells from Monday through Saturday. She likes her business, because it makes her an independent woman.

She applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia and Kiva. The loan will be used to buy more fruits and vegetables to sell to her good clients.

In the future, she wants to keep sending her children to school. She wishes to say thanks.
