Lorda's story

Lorda is a 40-year-old businesswoman from Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija. She is happily married to, Augusto, an overseas worker, and blessed with 2 children.

She runs a sari-sari store selling chips, breads, candies, canned goods, and other items for almost 20 years. She has been a good paying client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI), Inc. for about 2 years.

Lorda has been granted a loan amounting to PHP 50,000 under the ASKI business loan program. Her loan will be used to buy additional products to sell, like soft drinks, noodles, condiments, and other items, to generate more income to support her family's needs.

She believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva funders, she will become a great micro-entrepreneur.
