Sabati Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for sheep to resell to take care of her children.

Sabati Group's story

Adama is a Malian woman, aged 35, who raises sheep. She is the married mother of three children, aged 9 to 20. Her husband is a farmer. She gets supplies of livestock at the weekly fairs in town where she also resells them.

From her sales, she can have a profit ranging from 25,00 to 35,000 francs per sheep. In addition to this, she works in small-scale commerce locally and has been doing this for eight years. Her income enables her to cover the costs of medical care, clothing, and schooling for the children, as well as to maintain a stable food supply for the family. Her income also lets her help her husband with certain family expenses.

She is still counting on support bolstered by RMCR, so that she might build a corral and purchase many head of livestock over time. She could then develop her business and eradicate poverty.
