Patila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some livestock in order to increase the income she makes from animal husbandry.

Patila's story

Patila, age 63, is a widow and the mother of two boys and three girls. She completed her secondary education and is, by nature, very hardworking. In 2011 she began growing crops and raising livestock, two activities which constitute her family's main source of income. Thanks to her very hard work and to her good business management, she has been able to grow her farming business to the point where she now has five dairy cows and six calves. In addition she owns 0.44 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows rice.

Eager to further develop her business, she has turned to Bai Tushum Bank and requested a loan of 170,000 som (KGS). She will use this loan to boost the income she makes from animal husbandry. She is planning to continue to reinvest her profits into the growth of her agricultural business.
