Esther's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for farm inputs and to hire laborers in order to grow more crops on her farm.

Esther's story

Esther is a single mother who has always used what little she has to the greatest benefit. Today she is able to meet the demands of her family, which makes her a respected woman in her village in the Maua region of Kenya.

With very few resources, Esther has been able to pull through. She engages in dairy and maize farming and also manages a sales business on the side. Her work brings in important household income. Her family members help with the work.

Esther is seeking a loan of 40,000 KES to pay for farm inputs and to hire laborers so that she can grow more crops on her farm. It is a great sacrifice for small-holder farmers to risk limited available resources to expand their farm businesses. With the help of the lenders, Esther will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs that are necessary for expansion. A significant portion of her profits will be invested back into her business to fuel its growth. She also wants to set a good example and a foundation for her children.

She hopes to have the help and contribution of the lenders, so she expresses her thanks in advance.
