Kenia Zenayda's story
Kenia is 24 years old. She lives with her family in the community of Ocote, in the town of Santa Bárbara.
For various years she has worked in farming. She grows high quality coffee in the high, cool mountains of Santa Bárbara. Her harvests generate income for the wellbeing of her family. She also grows ginger for export. She explains that thanks to these crops she has changed her family's quality of life.
She is seeking a loan to buy fertilizer and manure for her coffee crop in order to obtain a good harvest. Her dream is to continue producing quality coffee and ginger, in order to improve her earnings and the wellbeing of her family.
