A loan helped to buy three cows and 12 sheep to increase her income from raising livestock.

Aigul's story

Aigul is 56 and unmarried with a grown daughter and a grandson. She has a high school education and is an entrepreneurial, purposeful and hardworking person. She has been working in animal husbandry and agriculture since 1990 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to her tasks, she has been able to develop her farm to having three cows, 10 sheep and three horses. She also grows alfalfa on rented land.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Aigul has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 190,000 KGS to buy three cows and 12 sheep to increase her income from raising livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into buying more livestock and toward her grandson's education, as well as partially to improve her family's living conditions.
