Sedep's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Sedep's story

Sedep is 19 years old and is married. Sedep has a secondary level education and is cheerful, responsible and hardworking in nature. As a basic income for her family, she has been engaged in animal husbandry and farming since 2018.

Thanks to Sedep's hard work and her husband's help, her farm today has 7 cows, 30 sheep, 5 horses, and even a land share measuring 0.48 hectares, on which she grows beans.

Sedep has a contract for the supply of organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business.

Learning that Bai Tushum bank will allow her to take out a loan under contract for future supplies that are part of the value chain product, she applied for a loan in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) to purchase milk cows to increase her livestock numbers and the sales volumes of organic milk.

Milk payments from the plant are deposited directly into Sedep's bank account and loan payments are automatically deducted. Sedep plans to use profits from the loan to purchase cattle and part to improve the living conditions of her family.
