Safa is the featured borrower of Yasmine Al Sham group, which consists of three hardworking Syrian refugees.

She agreed with the other group members to acquire a Syrian refugee loan product from Kiva’s field partner, Al Majmoua, because they’re working hard in order to improve their families’ living and businesses.

Safa is a 29-year-old, married mother of four children. She provides cleaning services to help her husband in covering their children's living expenses and needs. She's a sacrificing mother, who works hard for the sake of her family.

Today, her loan share will be used to buy clothes in order to start her own clothes-selling business.

Safa is the lady in the middle with respect to other group members. Amina is the lady at the right side and Houria is the lady at the left side of the picture.
