A loan helped to buy supplies.

Ángela Lucia's story

Tosagua is a productive canton. Here, products, such as cacao, coffee, plantains, corn and more are grown. Cattle are also raised, along with poultry and pigs. The local gastronomy is well-known in the area; the main dish is fried or roasted fish.

Angela is 59 years old and married. She has four children, all now independent adults. Her husband is a heavy machinery operator. The family lives in a house that they own.

Angela is expanding her little supplies shop, which continues in her house. Angela sells a great variety of products, such as rice, sugar, oils, and detergents. She works every day from 6am to 8pm, and sometimes later.

Angela will use this new loan to buy supplies; she will then have more variety so that her customers are satisfied. Her dream is to continue expanding the business and continue enjoying good health.
