A loan helped to buy three more cows and open a meat butcher shop to grow her business.

Zulfa's story

Zulfa is 40 years old and the single mother of three school-going children. She operates a food market, where she sells fresh cow meat. She is a very hardworking woman; she slaughter cows and sells the meat from her house. She has been in this business for seven years. She sells in kilos and her biggest customers are her neighbors and people who own meat butcher shops. She operates her business from 7:00 a.m until closes at 6:00 p.m Her business is doing well and she earns good profits from it.

This will be Zulfa's third loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loans to buy a freezer in which to put meat, and she earned profits that she used to pay school fees for her children and to repay the loans, which she did successfully.

She is applying for this loan to buy three more cows and open a meat butcher shop to grow her business. Her dream is to own more butcher shops in the future.

Zulfa promises to be responsible in paying back the loan successfully.
