By Faith Group's story

Hazviperi is aged 39 and resides in Dzivarasekwa, a developing suburb in Harare. She sell shoes, cosmetics and other products at the local shops. She gets the products from major wholesalers then sells at retail prices. She is a married mother of three cute children. Her husband is a self-employed mechanic.

Hazviperi has managed to assist her husband from the proceeds of her business and this has improved their standard of living as a family. Hazviperi was invited by her friends to join Thrive Microfinance to access loans for her business. In addition to the loans, she attended financial training where she was taught the importance of savings from her operations. The previous loan she received helped Hazviperi to build a fowl-run. Hazviperi got her fourth loan from Thrive and she used her loan to buy cosmetics and school shoes for her business stall. She is hopeful that with future profits, she can be able to open a boutique.
