Roza's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Roza's story

Roza is 45 years old, married and has 3 sons and a daughter. Her oldest son is 25 and her daughter is 10. Roza has a high school education and since 1999, the main source of income for her family has been from raising livestock and farming. Thanks to her hard work she currently has on her farm 2 cows, 80 sheep and a .88 hectare plot of land on which she grows beans.

Roza has an agreement to deliver organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Roza applied for 70,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank after learning that she can receive the loan based on her contract for future deliveries as part of the product "value chain". She will purchase a dairy cow to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk. Payments for the milk from the plant will be deposited directly into her bank account and loan payments automatically deducted. With the loan proceeds, Roza plans to invest in buying livestock and use a part to improve the living conditions of her family.
