Marjina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a new toto rickshaw and a spare battery for her husband's transport business.

Marjina's story

Marjina is a 30-year-old married woman and homemaker living in Cooch Behar district, West Bengal. She has a family with four members and a monthly household income of INR 10,000. Her husband is the sole breadwinner of the family and works as a toto-rickshaw (a three-wheeled battery operated rickshaw used in West Bengal) driver. The rickshaw is very old and is breaking down. They need to repair and service it completely, which would cost them a fortune.

She plans to purchase a new toto rickshaw instead. She has applied for a loan of INR 38,000 from BJS, one of Milaap's field partners. She will purchase a new rickshaw and a spare battery for it. She and her family will be thankful for all the support extended.
