Yvonne's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more grocery products.

Yvonne's story

Yvonne is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her husband and two children in the Chikomba East in Zimbabwe.

She owns a grocery shop selling dry goods and home goods.

Yvonne is now requesting a Kiva loan to increase the size and range of her stock to meet the demand in her community. She plans to use the profit she earns to buy food for the family and send her children to school.

Yvonne will repay the "social interest" on her loan by volunteering four hours per week as a young woman on transition, supporting Learner Guides to carry out study group sessions in the community and to follow up on dropouts and students with attendance challenges.
