but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

Machaj Paxi Group's story

The communal bank "Machaj Paxi" as part of the Los Andes Agency, is made up of eight members and is directed by a general committee where Balvina is the President.

The loan that they will take out will benefit micro businesses where Balvina is a member. She is 37 years old. At the moment she has a handicraft business making small figures, little houses for "alasitas" (miniature items): this business started 15 years ago.

The loan that she will now take out will be to increase capital to buy wholesale plaster, paint and paintbrushes among other items that she will obtain from wholesale sellers in the town of La Paz. After that she will make and sell them at her sales stall. This type of work allows her to generate resources to financially support her family, as she is married and has three children. Her dream is to have a happy family.
