Toakase's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some more resources to use in her business also to help enlarge her business in order to earn some more income.

Toakase's story

Toakase is 50 years old. She is a married woman and she has nine children; four of them are currently attending school. They are living together at their owned home, and there are 11 of them all together staying at their house.

She had her loan from SPBD and used it as capital to run her business of a plantation that grows vegetables and different types of crops, as they appear in the photograph. She doesn't hire anyone to help in her business; only she and her husband are working together at Toakase's business.

When they harvest the crops, she sells her vegetables and crops to earn income for helping her family's living and also for her loan repayment, as her priority.

The only challenges that she faced is when there are not many customers to buy her products, but her business is still actively running.

In the future, she has a vision to produce new business and help develop her family's living standards and situation.
