A loan helped to purchase additional stocks of cereals to sell.

Amos's story

Amos, a 43-year-old married man with six children, describes himself to be honest. He has operated a retail business that sells cereals for four years. His business is located in a good area, and his primary customers are locals from Bungoma, Kenya.

Amos describes his biggest business challenge to be inadequate working capital. He will use this Kes 30,000 loan, his first with SMEP Microfinance Bank, to purchase additional stocks of cereals to sell.

Amos will use the anticipated profits to pay school fees. He hopes he will be financially stable in the future.
