Esperança Da Braslândia Group's story

Ionice is a very simple and humble woman. She lives in a house provided by the city and has always worked as a day laborer to help the family. Since she didn't earn very much money she had the idea to increase her income by buying a few pieces of clothing and selling them from stands at community fairs. Over time she met some entrepreneurs who were clients of the Banco do Povo and learned about the loans. She began investing right away and today she has two stands. One of her granddaughters works with her. Ionice raised her following the father's death in an assault.

Her dream is to have a number of clothing stands scattered among the various fairs in the community. This will allow her to provide employment opportunities to other families and increase sales. The best and most comfortable way for her to serve her customers is at the fairs. She will use the loan to buy lingerie, blouses and women's slacks.

Maria Rita sells children's clothing and also has a stand at the fair. Maria sells clothing and also cares for the elderly. Karina makes and sells cakes to order, and Marilucia has a cart where she sells breads, coffee and cakes in front of schools and businesses. She also cares for her sick mother.
