Bella's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to enlarge her cattle herd with 5 more bulls and access a wider market, improving her family's living standards.

Bella's story

Get to know Bella, an experienced farmer from Archis village, in the Tavush region of Armenia. She lives with her husband, son, her son's family and an elderly ill mother-in-law in an area considered to be a conflict zone.

For 15 years, agriculture has been their main activity and source of income. On their well-diversified farm, Bella keeps cows, bulls, chickens and 7 beehives. They also cultivate apple and pear trees. Additionally, they have special agro-machinery and a truck, which definitely helps them trade their goods to a wider market. They always search for opportunities to expand and develop their farm.

Having this in mind, Bella has applied for financial support. With the loan, she plans to enlarge her cattle herd with 5 more bulls. She is sure that, with this enhancement, they will be able to access an even larger market. Bella hopes that, in the near future, the income from their agri-business will rise and her 2 lovely granddaughters will see an improvement in their living conditions.
