A loan helped to restock groceries for her shop.

Beatitude Group's story

Olivia is a widowed mother aged 52 living in Budiriro with her three children. She operates the tuck shop at her house restocking from town usually twice every week. Customer taste and preferences were changing therefore there was need for additional funds to meet changing tastes so as to avoid losing customers to her competitors.

Olivia told her friends that her business required additional funds and she could not raise the money on her own. Her friends encouraged her to join them at Thrive Microfinance. On her first loan, she restocked groceries for her tuck shop. Her business improved as she now keeps more stocks. She used the profits from this loan to pay for her household upkeep and school fees. She used her share of the current loan to restock groceries for her shop.
