Ramata's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy beef cows.

Ramata's Group's story

This group is made up of 6 women who share strong links of solidarity and mutual support. They live in the same village and seized the opportunity to join the "banc villageois" when it was established in the local area in March 2008. Their main activity is animal husbandry and small business.
Ramata, (standing on the far right of the photo with her hand raised), is the representative of the group. She is 46 years old. She is married and mother of six children of which three are boys. She rears and fattens animals. She benefits from the experience of having been in this business for several years.
With this new loan she plans to buy some beef cows, livestock and the vaccines. Then she will fatten them up for at least eight months to then sell them on.
With the profits, she will boost her savings and educate her children.
