Yacine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy various products for her boutique.

Yacine's story

Madame Yacine seized the opportunity to integrate with the banc villageois at the moment of its inauguration in May 2016. She is 49 years old and married, mother to 6 children, 4 girls and 2 boys; 2 are in school. A dynamic woman, she worked for substantial savings to qualify for a large loan so as to develop her business.
Madame Yacine, who has been in the business for over 10 years, buys her stock at the central market in town to resell in her village where she has a boutique.
She will buy 1 ton of rice, 5 20-liter jerrycans of oil, 5 cartons of plain soap in pieces, 3 sacks of powdered soap and a large quantity of spices (pepper, etc) which she will resell in hope of making a good profit. She has no trouble selling her wares as there is little competition in her village.
She reinjects a portion of her profits into her business and reinforces her savings with the other portion.
