Simboti Group's story

Barbra is a successful business women. She lives in the rural areas of Masomera under Nhowe chieftainship. She has been in the poultry and clothing business for the past 4 years and she is contributing greatly to her household financials. She specializes mainly in broilers and clothing. She sells her clothes in her village and broilers are sold in Marondera Central Business District.

She is coming to Thrive microfinance for the second time to seek financial support as she wants to expand her business. She is married and has three children. Babra learned about Thrive from other women who benefited from loans.

She used her loan to restock more clothes as well as to buy feeds for her broilers. With this opportunity to grow her business, she is hopeful that she can be able to open a flea market in future.
