Muzivi Group's story

Regina lives in the Goromonzi area where she has a good clothing shop. Regina has been in this business for more than ten years. She is coming to Thrive for the third time. With the profits from previous loans, she was able to finish building her house. Regina is a member of the Muzivi group. This group is made up of four strong business ladies who have come together to further finance their businesses through adding more capital.

Regina is 52 years old and a widow with three adult children. Regina usually restocks her clothes from Harare and sometimes she contracts tailors who sew uniforms for her to put in her shop. Regina is also a qualified tailor who also sews African attire. Regina is grateful to Thrive for the good relationship that has been created through their borrowing. Regina used her share of the loan to restock uniforms, clothes and casual wear for men and women.
