Mohammad's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for his 3-year-old child's primary school tuition fees.

Mohammad's story

Mohammad is a 34-year-old Lebanese father of two children who works in a gold shop to meet his family's basic needs. He is very keen to make his children well-educated members of the community and does his best to achieve his aim.

Although he earns a limited income, he does not let this obstacle stand in the way of educating his children. He acquired a loan to pay his 3-year-old child's tuition fees for primary school.

The loan is part of Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua's Back to School program, which is designed to finance school expenses such as stationery, transportation, and tuition fees for students with limited family incomes.

Mohammad hopes that his children will grow up to become successful individuals in the future.
