A loan helped to buy baby fish.

He Muong 78 Group's story

Hoa is 35 years old and has been a farmer since she was very little. Now she lives with her husband, brother-in-law, and two children, ages 15 and 13, in a small Thai house in Vietnam's northwest mountains. Like other villagers, her family gets their main income from agricultural production. Before, their life was really difficult because of the instability of income from agriculture as a result of their old traditional techniques.

Since she learned about the Anh Chi Em program, Hoa has been interested in its loans and agricultural training and counseling, which have affected her farming and animal husbandry favorably. This time, she is requesting a loan from the Anh Chi Em program to buy baby fish to raise and sell in the market.

Hoa hopes this investment will go well and help her reap high profits, which she plans to use to pay her children’s tuition for the next semester.
