Lucretia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more dry fish, bread and eggs to sell.

Lucretia's story

Lucretia is 47 years old, a widow with 2 children. They live at home while in school. Lucretia attended school until 9th grade. She runs a business where she sells dry fish, bread and eggs. She learned how to sell from her friends.

For 7 years, she has been involved in this business. She has no problems with her sales. She likes her business because sales are fast and she is proud of her business because it helps to send her children to school.

To continue selling, Lucretia applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner. She plans to use her loan to buy more dry fish, bread and eggs to sell to her regular customers.

In the future she wants to give her children quality education. She wishes to say thanks.
