Louise's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase more slippers, shoes, clothes, make-up, handbags and other items to sell.
Meet 31 year old Louise from Liberia. She is single with one child who is 12 years old. Her child stays in school while living at home. Louise runs a business which sells slippers, shoes, clothes, make-up, handbags and other items to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past 5 years and works 15 hours per day and 6 days a week. She has had no problem with her business. Louise requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more slippers, shoes, clothes, make-up, handbags and other items to sell and grow her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family and to educate her children. In the next 5 years she wants to open a big shop and continue sending her child to school. She says thanks and appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
