Benkadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep to resell to support his family.

Benkadi Group's story

Fousseni is the man holding the sheep by the horn in the photo. He is a 48-year-old, Malian farmer, married and the father of eight children, ages two to 19 years old, including three who attend school. His wife is a housekeeper.

Fousseni is illiterate, and has been raising sheep for more than 20 years. He buys his animals at the local markets and resells them at the same markets. The income he earns allows him to pay for his family's expenses, like medical costs and education, etc.

Fousseni relies on the MFI RMCR to grow his business by increasing his revenues. He wants to thank all the Kiva/RMCR partners and asks that they sustain their support activities.
