Grupo La Junta Group's story

The "La Junta" group is made up of three hardworking women. Doña Maria de Lourdes, who is 46 years old, coordinates the group. She is married and has six children of whom two are in her care; they are 14 and 17 years old. She has earned her living selling used clothing and shoes for ten years. She is going to use the loan to buy bales of used clothes and shoes. Her dream is to grow her business.

Her members:
Doña Blanca de Los Angeles, who is 50 years old, has had a milling business for 20 years. Doña Nelis del Socorro who is 42 years old, works selling "nacatamales" and "fritanga" [traditional nicaraguan foods].
