Tiessiri-Ton Group's story

DIAKALIA is the one holding the steer. He is 43 years old and a farmer with a home in Mali, where he has been raising cattle during the dry season for five years. Married with two wives, he is the father of four children, aged 8 months to 9 years, including a girl attending school. His two wives are farmers and homemakers.

His wish is to become a major livestock farmer in the area in order to meet the needs of his family and those of his children in particular (schooling and healthcare).

He has had support training in Bambara, the national language. In addition, he got technical training in cattle. He borrows from RMCR to expand his business and gets supplies in the Segou region of Mopti. Buyers come to his home for his fattened cattle. His projected profits would be to 25,000 francs CFA per head of cattle.
